As a world leader in energy research and development, Dubai was one of the first few countries in the MENA region, to setup a Biodiesel production facility that utilized used vegetable oil. The Dubai government collaborated with major restaurant chains and in 2012, the Road & Transport Authority launched Green Buses that further confirmed the benefits of producing Biodiesel.
At BioD Technology, our operations and directives are in line with the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030, which aims to focus on improved energy generation and consumption practices. We aim to contribute to the development of a green and clean future in which Carbon Dioxide emissions and fuel costs will reach record lows.

As an ISCC certified company, we ensure that all our processes meet the highest quality control and comply with internationally acceptable regulatory standards. This includes the entire supply chain as well as the selection and processing systems. Our ISCC certification also evidences our commitment to contributing to the creation of a cleaner today and a greener tomorrow.
Marine Biofules/Bunkering
We offer FAME Biodiesel B100 for Marine Biodiesel application, which our customers blend to make B24.
B24 is a blend of 24% fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) and 76% very low sulphur fuel oil (VLSFO).
Our biodiesel is produced from sustainable feedstocks:
- Used cooking oil (UCO)
- Palm oil mill effluent (POME)
- Waste acid oil (WAO)
